Located next door to Olema House, Due West restaurant (formerly Farm House at the Lodge) is a sophisticated roadside saloon with a storied history. Housed in a cozily refurbished, circa-1865 building, the restaurant once catered to Point Reyes’s wagoners and travelers. Today, it welcomes new generations of journeyers and epicures, providing well-made food and drinks in a relaxed yet refined setting. From late-afternoon snacks to lively drinks or indulgent dinners, Due West offers space to gather, time to relax and room to celebrate.

Offering the very best of West Marin including fresh oysters from Tomales Bay, local organic produce from Bolinas farms, and meats and dairy from Point Reyes ranches as well as specialty beers, curated wines, and craft cocktails, Due West reimagines the small-town, Northern California inn as a convivial modern kitchen, uniting locals and faraway guests. Its seasonal, farm-to-fork menu highlights inventive, homemade dishes using the best local ingredients.
Due West features both indoor and outdoor dining spaces, as well as venues for special events. Overlooking a year-round creek and the gardens at Olema House, Due West provides a picturesque setting for private parties, weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate banquets, birthday celebrations, or family picnics.
With its garden views, Redwood canopy, stone fountain and outdoor bar, the Clemente Garden is an ideal site for private events for up to 100 guests. Just inside, The Park room offers ample natural light and similarly scenic vistas, along with a cozy fireplace. It seats up to 40 guests.

A modern iteration of the classic country store conveniently located adjacent to Olema House, Due West Market offers a curated selection of artisanal goods. Working closely with area farmers and community vendors, Due West Market sells a variety of healthy snacks, to-go meals, picnic essentials and beverages. Stop in for just-made sandwiches and salads, local cheeses, charcuterie, wine, coffee, ice cream and more.
Equal parts pre-trek pantry, info hub and specialty gift store, Due West Market elevates the idea of the country general store. Beyond food and beverages, look for fresh flowers, books and magazines and local guides. And, be sure to ask one of our staff about the area’s best hiking, picnicking and points of interest en route to your next adventure.
