Divide Meadow via Bear Valley Trail

This trail is listed under the one to three-hour hikes list and is just over three miles. Make your way through Douglas Fir Forest and along Bear Valley Creek to spot a beautiful open meadow where you can even have a picnic if you’d like! There’s plenty of shaded resting spots, but still, make sure to bring plenty of water.

Bear Valley Trail

At a little over eight miles, this trail is listed under the three to six-hour hikes. As the most popular trail in the park, it might be a little busier, but it is the most direct walk to the ocean. Pass through Douglas Fir Forest, Bear Valley Creek, Divine Meadow, and Coast Creek. On this hike, you’ll be protected from the sun, wind, and coastal fog.
